- Select the type of volunteer opportunity that aligns with your nonprofit’s needs:
- Field volunteering – Engage volunteers in hands-on, in-person activities such as community clean-ups, mentoring programs, or event support.
- Skills-based volunteering – Access professional expertise in areas like marketing, IT, finance, legal advice, graphic design, and more.
- Goods collection – Request essential supplies such as clothing, books, hygiene kits, or food donations to support your initiatives.
- Virtual volunteering – Connect with volunteers remotely for flexible, digital support, including online mentoring, administrative assistance, or research projects.
- Choose from a pre-built template and customize it to fit your needs, or create a new volunteer opportunity from scratch.
- Fill out all required fields, including key details about the opportunity, expected impact, time commitment, and any specific skills required.
- Click "Submit" to finalize and publish your volunteer opportunity.

What happens next?
Once you have submitted your opportunity, you will receive an email from the Nonprofit Engagement Team at Alaya by Benevity. This email will contain a link to your nonprofit’s profile on the Alaya platform, where you can view your published volunteer opportunities.
Corporate volunteers using Alaya by Benevity will now be able to discover and sign up for your opportunity, helping your nonprofit gain valuable support.
This volunteer opportunity will not be visible within the Benevity Causes Portal but will be accessible through Alaya by Benevity for corporate employees looking for volunteering opportunities.
