My donation receipt uses UTC time. What does this mean?

The donation receipts or acknowledgements that are issued to you will always be listed in UTC time. This means that depending on your local time zone your donation may be tax receiptable on a different day (or possibly even year) than the “Date Receipt Issued” that appears on your receipt or acknowledgement. The chart below helps you see how UTC time converts to your own local time zone.
