Missing reports

For every disbursement sent via Benevity, a corresponding report is uploaded to the Causes Portal, ordered based on the Period End Date. 

Benevity operates on a monthly disbursement cycle. Funds are sent at the end of the month after they were committed. This means that a “Jan 31, 2022” Period End Date will include donations made in January, and those funds would be disbursed at the end of February. 

In the days leading up to a report being uploaded, you may see information listed in the Upcoming Disbursement section.

This section is to alert you to a report that will be uploaded in the coming days. Reports are not available ahead of disbursement as changes can be made up until the time the funds are sent. 

Note: After Benevity releases the disbursement, it can take up to three business days for the downloadable report to appear on your profile. 

To view your disbursement reports, follow these steps:

  • Sign in to the Causes Portal.
  • On the left-hand side menu, select the Reports tab.
  • On the right-hand side of each line, select Reports and then Download Detailed Report.

Tip: The Payment Method column may include a date, as seen above, which will correspond with the date the funds were sent. This can help you match the report with the day you received the disbursement in your bank account. 

Note: Check disbursements will not have a date listed in the Payment Method column.

If you have received a disbursement and the corresponding report is not uploaded within three business days, contact our support team and include the payment reference number/check number, deposit date, and disbursement ID.
