If your cause is located in Australia, Canada, Ireland, the UK, or the US, learn how to add your cause to the Causes Portal.
Organizations located outside of those countries must complete registration and validation with our international vetting partner, TechSoup, before a profile can be created in the Causes Portal.
Go to the Causes Portal to search for your organization’s profile. If a profile cannot be found, begin with step 1 below. If a profile is found, skip to step 3.
Step 1 – Register with TechSoup
- Go to the TechSoup website.
- Select your organization’s country and preferred language.
- Select Sign up to get validated or Log in to a pre-existing account.
- You may be redirected to one of TechSoup’s regional partners to complete the registration. Select Continue to TechSoup (region).
- Enter your account details to create an account.
Step 2 – Validate Your Organization with TechSoup
After creating an account, TechSoup (or one of their regional partners) will reach out via email to request documentation to validate your organization’s nonprofit/NGO status.
This information is collected and manually reviewed by TechSoup and can take approximately 2-4 weeks. TechSoup may need to reach out to you for additional documentation and/or information to finalize your validation. TechSoup notifies your organization via email once the review is complete.
Step 3 – Register Your Profile on the Benevity Causes Portal
Once you have received a notification from TechSoup or the Cause Operations Team to confirm that your organization status is valid, it can take up to 2 business days to create your profile on the Benevity Causes Portal. Go to the Causes Portal to search for your organization’s profile within 1-2 days and enter your organization’s name as it was registered with TechSoup.
Once you have located your organization’s profile, complete the required onboarding steps to qualify for our clients’ workplace giving programs.
