How to find your Benevity Cause ID
You can locate your Benevity ID on your cause profile page by following these steps:
- Sign in to the Benevity Causes Portal
- Select Cause Profile from the left-hand side menu
- Click View Cause Profile
- Locate your Unique Identifier (Benevity Cause ID) on your profile page
How to Find Your Benevity Cause ID If You're Not Yet Registered
If your nonprofit is not yet registered on Benevity, you may still have a Benevity Cause ID in the system. You can find this ID by following these steps:
- Check your web address bar - If you can access your nonprofit's profile page, look at the URL while logged into the Causes Portal. Your Benevity ID is the number shown at the end of the address after: causes.benevity.org/causes/
- Use the 'Register Now' button - If you cannot log into your profile, go to causes.benevity.org and click 'Register Now'. Search for your organization in the registration form. If your nonprofit already exists in Benevity's system, your Benevity Cause ID will appear in the web address when viewing your profile page.
