How to Navigate the New Portal
Log in at causes.benevity.org. You'll land on your new Dashboard homepage automatically.
- Find your tools in the left-hand navigation sidebar. Look for: Dashboard, Reporting, and Transaction Search.
- Switch organizations (if you manage more than one) by clicking the organization name dropdown at the top of the sidebar.
- Access legacy features using the same sidebar — a link to the classic portal experience is available for approximately six weeks following launch to help you transition.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Why does the portal look different when I log in? Benevity has launched a redesigned Causes Portal with a modern, unified interface. All your existing features are still available — they're just in a new location within the left-hand sidebar menu.
- Can I go back to the old portal? No, however, a link to the classic portal reporting format will remain available for approximately six weeks, giving your team time to adjust.
- The page looks different for one of my sub-users. Why? Sub-users with limited permissions may see a different view. Reporting and dashboard features require Report Viewer permissions. Contact your portal admin to update access.
- Something in the navigation isn't working. What should I do? Try refreshing your browser or clearing your cache. If the issue persists, use the live chat in the portal or contact Benevity Support.
