How do I know the status of my application or Proposal?

If you have grant applications in Benevity's systems, you can also track the status of all your grant applications submitted across Benevity clients' granting programs, directly in the Grants tab of the Benevity Causes Portal.

The dashboard provides a single view of all your applications, including the funder name, submitted and last updated dates, and the current status of each application, such as Submitted, In Review, Action Required, Approved, Declined, or Completed — along with the most recent update date.

Status What it means What you can do
In review Submitted and being reviewed by the grantor Wait for an update
Action required The grantor requested changes Select Resubmit to edit and submit again
Approved Funded Check for any follow-up requests
Declined Not funded No further action needed in the dashboard
Cancelled Cancelled by the grantor No further action needed in the dashboard
Follow-up survey Approved, and a survey is required Open the survey link and complete it
