This article provides instructions for cause registrants to sign up for electronic fund transfer (EFT) payments through the Causes Portal. All EFT applications are manually reviewed by our internal teams and the review timelines are subject to current volumes. You will receive an email once the review is complete.
The sign up process is different depending on where your cause is located. Sign in to the Causes Portal and action the steps below that are relevant to your organization.
USA
For organizations in the USA:
- Select Donation Method on the left-hand side.
- Select Update Donation Payment Method and choose your donation payment method.
- Fill out the required fields marked with a red asterisk (*).
- Upload the supporting document and make sure that the information provided on the form is included on and matches the information on the document.
- Review the information and Submit.
CANADA
For organizations in Canada:
- Select Donation Method on the left-hand side.
- Select Update Donation Payment Method and choose your donation payment method.
- Fill out the required fields marked with a red asterisk (*).
- Upload the supporting document and make sure that the information provided on the form is included on and matches the information on the document. Review the information and Submit.
OUTSIDE OF NORTH AMERICA
For organizations outside of North America:
- Select Donation Method on the left-hand side.
- Select Update Donation Payment Method.
- Fill out the required fields marked with a red asterisk (*).
- Upload the supporting document and ensure the information provided on the form matches the information on the document.
- Review the information and Submit.
